deadline to enter this meet is 11/05/09 at 6:00PM.

Racing suit update and Spook Splash info.. |
10/21/09
All of the extra racing suits
that were ordered have been sold with exception of
(2) male briefs, size 26. We still have a few "no
name" brand suits for racing arriving today or
tomorrow. Briefs, Jammers and Female suit sizes 22,
24, 26 and 30. Again, this will be first come first
served.
If you would like to order the
NIKE
racing suit (w/o the logo), just email the size to

Female suits are $45.50
Male Briefs are
$25.00
Male Jammers are $33.00
Or
if you would like the "no
name" Polyester suit for racing or training,
the prices are:

Spook Splash start times reminder. |

Just a reminder of the
start times for all groups. Please try to be on
time.
TIME SCHEDULE:
Friday:
Warm-ups 11 &
U 4:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
12 & O
4:45 p.m. to 5:20 p.m.
Meet starts:
5:30 p.m.
Saturday:
Warm-ups 11 &
U 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
12 & O 7:30 a.m. to 8:05
a.m.
Meet
starts: 8:15
a.m.
Warm-up groups may change per referee's
discretion based on the entries. A high school
city and county swimming meet is scheduled to begin
at 3:45 pm and as a result, all Spook Splash
activities must conclude by 3:00 p.m on Saturday!

Logoed
racing suits should have arrived at your home
yesterday unless you pre-paid for your suit at
registration. If so, the suits are in the TAC
Office waiting to be picked up. We ordered a few
extra briefs and female suits which will be offered
on a first come first serve basis. TAC is proud to
be sponsored and under contract with NIKE. This
means only NIKE suits and our TEAM Cap will be
allowed for future competitions. The upcoming Spook
Splash Invite will be excluded and the TEAM Cap will
be the only requirement to race.

Here are a few tips to
extending the life of your racing suit!
1.
Don't
wear your racing suit for warm ups. Bring your
practice suit to warm up in and allow your racing
suit to remain dry.
2.
Don't
let your racing suit dry on your body. This will
make the suit stretch. If you have 30 to 40 minutes
or more between races, take your suit off and allow
it to dry over a rail or chair.
3.
Rinse
your suit with cold water to remove the chlorine
from the fabric. Chlorine will speed up the rotting
process in the seams of the suit and start to reduce
the elasticity of the Lycra.
4. Make sure
your suit is the
proper size.
Most people try to buy a suit that they can "grow
into". This will only lead to the suit stretching
out more when you swim. In short, the suit will not
last more than a couple of months where a fitted
suit will last years if taken care of properly. If
modesty is a concern, consider purchasing a drag
suit, parka or Team shorts to wear over the suit.

Swim Caps are in! |

The NEW Tiger Aquatic
Club swim caps have arrived and can be picked up in
the TAC office at the Community Recreation Center.
These caps will be required for swim meets and need
to be worn at practice from now on (if child wears a
cap). We have extras so feel free to stock
up!

Thanksgiving Invite deadline posted! |

Deadline for the
Thanksgiving Invitational has been set for Thursday,
November 5th by 6:00PM.
Absolutely
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED
PAST THIS DATE AND TIME!
Please mark your
calendars and get your entries emailed to Coach
Perry by
clicking here. We need to know which days you
will be attending. This is a Friday, Saturday and
Sunday meet with 12 & unders swimming in the morning
and 13 & overs swimming in the afternoon/evening.

Just a reminder - if you
haven't paid your October bill, the mandatory $20.00
late fee will be added after the 10th. You can drop
your payment in the mail slot on the TAC office door
at anytime this weekend to avoid the fee!

Reminder for the Junior/Senior
Groups - There will be
NO PRACTICE
this Saturday, October 10th due to the upcoming meet
in Nampa. Practice will resume as normal on
Monday. For up to date schedule changes and
deadlines, please view the "Monthly Calendar" on the
right side of the home page!

Deadline to enter Spook Splash is coming

The deadline to enter the
Spook Splash Invite in Idaho Falls is this Friday,
October 9th at 6:00pm! This is a 2 day meet (Friday
& Saturday, 10/23 & 10/24). All groups are welcome
to register!
The cost to enter this meet will
be $36.00 per swimmer and you must register with
Coach Perry prior to the deadline listed above. The
easiest way to enter is to send Coach Perry an email
by
clicking here and informing him of which days
you will be attending. The TAC coaching staff will
take it from there and all entries will be posted on
Saturday, October 10th by 12noon right here on our
web site!
If you have any questions, please
feel free to ask your coach
AFTER PRACTICE
at either training site or call the TAC Office and a
TAC Representative will answer your questions or
return your call ASAP.
