Practice schedule for MLK Day (01/18/10) |

There will be AM practice
ONLY on Monday, January 18th. This practice is
open to Junior and Senior Squads only! We will
be having a JR/SR breakfast at Perkins following
practice. Hope everyone (including parents)
can attend! For the latest schedule updates,
please check the monthly calendar regularly..

You can't drive forward
looking in the mirror!

is nothing more damaging to your future potential
than spending your present dwelling on the past.
Whatever has happened is over. Glory or defeat, once
the clock struck midnight, the day was done. You are
reborn each morning, and who you are each day is
defined by what you do that day and that day only.
You are not your past. You are only your present and
your present actions will determine your future.
Now, let the past instruct you so you can be
wiser marching forward, but don’t let it continue to
suck you backwards... [Let] your past be “a school
master, not a club.” Let it instruct you, not
continue to beat you down. Look back for lessons,
not excuses.
Oh, and by the way, that
[diploma or] degree you [will earn or have earned
will be] deemed irrelevant within 18 months after
graduation. What you have learned lately is what’s
important. The dusty trophy on your shelf won’t pay
your mortgage, time to get into today’s playing
field of life and play with intensity. There is a
great line I heard that says,
“You can never obtain success, you can only
rent it and the rent is due every day.”
It’s great to achieve, celebrate your victories
and be proud of your accomplishments, just keep your
eyes on the road ahead and not fixated on your
rearview mirror or you too, might find your life
accidentally smashed into an object you didn’t see
just in front of you.

DEADLINE TO ENTER IGLOO PENTAHLON IS TODAY! |

Today is the last day to enter
the Twin Falls Igloo Pentathlon! Please send
an email to
tacinfo@cableone.net if you would like to be
entered. The cost is $37.00 and this is a
Saturday Only meet (January 23rd). If your
entry is not received by 6PM this evening (01/07/09)
you will not be entered.

Impact Sports (NIKE) orders have arrived. |

If you ordered online
from IMPACT SPORTS (NIKE) last month, the orders
have arrived and are in the Team Office. We
will be placing another order in February along with
personalized caps!

Parent meeting scheduled for Austin Grand Prix
families. |

There will be a meeting for
the families of the swimmers below who are planning
on attending the 2010 Austin Grand Prix in Texas.
This is a "Travel Team" meet and some extra rules
and regulations are involved with this trip.
Please plan to attend a quick, informative meeting
at the CRC on Wednesday, January 6th at 6:30PM.
